Transforming dogs through specialised training and socialisation

Hi, I’m Adam — Dog Psychologist, lifelong animal lover, and the person behind Perth K9 Behaviourist. My journey started with hands‑on experience at Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital, followed by work in a local vet clinic and volunteer time with GAP, helping retired greyhounds adjust to life beyond racing.
I also bring a unique background from my years working as a Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Supervisor. That world taught me to value accuracy, consistency, and transparency — all things I now apply to understanding canine behaviour and supporting owners.
I’m here to help you make sense of your dog’s behaviour in a practical, honest way. And if your case needs a different specialist, I’ll always be upfront about it. My goal is to support you and your dog with clarity, compassion, and real results.

Sensitive, Strong, and Finally HimselfChase is my sensitive new‑age boy, rescued from Bunbury after a rough start with no walkies and a lot of ill treatment. He arrived timid, teeth‑showing, lead‑pulling, and unsure how to socialise — but with structure and patience he’s become a calm, confident pack leader who now plays beautifully with his mates (including Ana).I’m currently teaching Ana how to recognise potential threats on walks so she can seek safety. I’m slightly embarrassed walking with a cat but I will protect her as we make the best team!

Cute, Bossy, Unbothered. Ana may look adorable, but she runs this house. She’s met 20‑plus dogs — from puppies to big farm dogs — and every one of them has ended up submitting to her authority. When she’s not napping, she’s supervising us or whatever new dog walks in. Her latest hobbies include eating dog food and joining us on walks, just to remind everyone she’s involved in everything.
